And so far, the performance is pretty satisfying. Overall, I think the phone is designed very well.

But no other Android phone so far I've seen have come with that feature, so that's a nice touch. Haven't used it yet, so I don't know how effective it is. If you type that IP address into a PC browser that's on a WiFi network and it's connected to the phone via WiFi, you can actually transfer media files back and forth. Now, what that is is it will give you the IP address of this phone. One unique feature on this phone is Motorola phone portal. Biggest problem with Android still, in my opinion, is that there is this fragmentation with the Android OS. Of course, it will get to 2.0 eventually, but we have no idea when that will be.
#Moto devour upgrade
It would be nice if we got a little upgrade here. This is running Android 1.6, which is disappointing considering the Droid had 2.0. And I think in this case, it would be better not to have that dedicated number key and just have the spacebar down below by itself. But in this case, don't like having the spacebar in between that last row of alphabetical keys. It is pretty spacious, a lot of room on the side here.

The buttons are raised slightly by the surface of the phone. The keyboard just below the display, it's actually pretty nice. And, of course, there's your contact list. You can see that there's the call button down here that will take you to the phone dialer. You press that tab, it will take you to the main menu. But I thought it works pretty well, actually. And the reason for that is just below, there's what's called a thumbpad. Now the Moto Droid has a little brother on Verizon, the Devour. You will see some touch controls down below. The display, a little small, I thought, for the phone's overall size, considering you had all the space over here, especially right here. Slider moves up and down with a nice click. But what I really like is the metal casing. Early when this first came out, Bonnie Cha said this looked a lot like the Droid's little brother. It is their first phone with Motoblur, which combines all your social networking, email and everything else into one platform. It's actually Verizon's third Android phone. This is a new cool Android phone for Verizon Wireless. Today we're taking a first look at the Motorola Devour. Hi, I'm Ken Sherman, Senior Editor here at.
